Delicious food, home-style at low prices!

I stay at the hotel across the street and discovered this little place and love it . Schweinhaxe is the best ! But we liked everything we tried and it has a nice atmosphere with excellent prices and great cold German beer !

It is open even on Sundays, so you can spend your time comfortably.

Very nice pub, we were there with several people, everyone was very happy with the food, only the beef steak was not that great. Therefore only 4 stars, otherwise good value for money and nice service / owner.

The place is small, both waitresses are friendly but speak little English. They have an English menu but translation was not accurate. You can check out the original menu outside the place and maybe you'll have better idea what they serve googling their menu. Frankfurt specialties are served here and it's DELICIOUSSS? The restaurant is cozy and you can tell everyone was having a good time chatting with a beer in their hands. Overall a very satisfying experience. We ordered 1 main dish, 1 small dish and 2 beers and it's only a little over 20 Euros.

We had no.9(fish),35(pork shank),and 45(beef steak), highly recommended no.35 and no.45 . all the dish will not be too salty.

Very very tasty and homely atmosphere. At the same time, it’s not at all expensive, they don’t charge prices for homemade food. Everything is clean and tidy.

Good place to eat traditional German food near the train station

Their frankfurter is so good! Try their super big pork knuckle (can be shared among 3), the boiled potatoes beside it are amazing. English menu is available here.

In a city so full of international restaurants, to find a real local taste is a treasure. This place offers local, german, taste for a very good price. Don't expect anything fancy, though!

The place was very nice and cosy. Portions were large and price was okay. (Lower then burger king :D) For two persons it was 20€, but it can be lower. Service was also very nice and fast (with only 1 waiter) For minuses: there was only cash

My second visit in a week! Couldn't get enough from the last visit . Authentic German atmosphere and food . Price is VERY affordable . This Pork Leg main is only 10.90Euros excluding tax . It feeds a big tummy for me , would feed two tiny tummies !

Too bad the waiter forget my beer, but the food was absolutely delicious. The portions were quite large for one person. If you want to taste German food, try this. Especially the pork chop was great in taste and presentation.

Good German food at reasonable prices

Very good gulasch soup 'mit brot'. Didn't want a big meal. Apple wine, ( scrumpy/cider really!) was great. We were there at 20.30 hrs. So, service very good. Waitress was lovely. Don't come hear unless you like traditional German pubs and food and no TV.

Found x case beside our hotel. Nice little place, cute and simple. ce menu also in Italian. Wide selection of various types of meat, soups and salads Only one type of draft beer and x deseeti only ice cream. Anyway good even if not cooked at the moment, very honest prices. Payment only in cash, and the evening closes at 21:30.

Great and Reasonable priced German Food. Enjoyed the food and the beer :) Service a bit slow (due to their only 1 waitress) so can't blame them.

The only place serving german food around my hotel and a nice one at that. Food was reasomably good (not fantastic) but 5 stars were given for the price for their lunch set. A schnitzel set with chips and a soup cost as little as 5.80€ during weekday lunch. Their lumberjack pork steak was good as well. The 1 Waitress was obviously overwork with at least 20 customers during lunch, which explains the slow service for us. Still a decent place to get decent german food at a great price!

Tasty German food? German atmosphere? German beer? German prices? This is it. Big enough portions to satisfy me, and that should be enough for most people. Only cash, which in my opinion is a good thing - less tourists. Close by the train station, walking distance, max 5 min??

Amazing schnitzel and friendly service - cash only!!

I can not give more than 3 stars, because of the advantages of this restaurant, it is only low price and quite comfortable inside, everything else - at "troechku" maximum. The knuckle was especially disappointing - it is completely tasteless and unsightly in appearance, in general I do not recommend it, it is better to have dinner on the other side of the Main. PS: beer is good, but this is understandable - Germany!
